Politicians who point

With the election in full swing, we are now being forced to see that same photo we have been seeing for years - you know, that photo taken from the ground of the candidate standing on the podium (usually with his wife somewhat dragging him somewhere) with a big stupid grin/smile on his goofy face with his arm straight out, leaning and pointing his index finger at some dumbfuck in the audience. 

That picture has that same artificial feel that seems to say "Yes we did - I told you ... You ... YOU ... I am pointing at YOU mister."

You get the feel that the candidate has an earpiece getting instructions from his campaign manager ... "Smile Senator" ... "Look at your wife" ... "Fake a smile at her too" ...

Then as the rally begins to wind down, the campaign manager says

... "Shit Senator, you haven't pointed your finger yet, point your finger now"

At whom?

... Anyone you idiot, the camera is pointed at you so no one knows who you're looking at (holds his hand over the phone and says to an Aid - "jeeeesssuusss, he's fucking dumb)

So the Senator gets that stupid smile that can only be generated from a deep pool of shallow charisma and points to someone (probably some dude who doesn't give a shit about politics but does want to bang every possible volunteer he can find while pretending to give a crap) ...

So there you go ... another big-time politician-pointing motherfucker strikes again.
